Wines have been selected by Sommelier Raimonds Tomsons.
Raimonds Tomsons found his way into restaurant business in 1999 when he started at restaurant Vincents as an assistant waiter. Surrounded by the creativity and perfectionism of chef Martins Ritins he soon found his passion into wine and matching food and wine. He became the Chef-sommelier at Vincents in 2006. He was twice the best sommelier of Latvia and also in the Baltic’s. He is also the winner of the competition Sommelier Trophee de Grand Jour de Champagne 2011 a competition held in Prague, Czech Republic, dedicated only to Champagne. Being an active member of the Latvian Sommelier association, he represented Latvia in the competitions of the Best Sommelier of Europe in 2008 held in Sofia, Bulgaria and also The Best Sommelier of the World 2010 in Santiago, Chile.
Beside his work at Vincents, he is currently the president of the Latvian Sommelier association, which is also a member of the A.S.I. Association De La Sommellerie Internationale. To enlarge his knowledge he has started his WSET Diploma program in wine and spirits in the Austrian Wine academy in Rust, Burgenland.
