Internatioanal jury  have given their verdict on „Ekselence 30 best restaurants of Latvia 2015” and the overall winner for several years in a row is „Vincents”.

Kaspars Jansons (Chef of restaurant MUUSU, 3rd place in the TOP) commented on "Vincents" domination on the top of Latvian restaurants the following: "First four restaurants in the Latvian TOP are lead by chefs who have started their careers at Vincents. I spent there 8 years; Maris Jansons worked at Vincents 8 years, Eriks Dreibants- almost 2 years. Half of the TOP 30 is somehow connected to Vincents. There is a saying that Maestro in Latvian music is Raimonds Pauls, but Maestro of Latvian restauranteurs is Mārtiņš Rītiņš."

The list of „Ekselence 30 best restaurants of Latvia 2015” is determined in accordance with international practice. The evaluation process took place in two rounds - the first round was based on votes of local journalists, bloggers, gourmands. This was followed by the second round where international jury gave their judgements. 14 chefs from Germany, Estonia, Norway, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland and Sweden inspected each restaurant and awarded points for food, drinks, service and mileu. Each restaurant was able to get 200 points – 80 points for food, 50 points for service, 40 points for drinks and 30 points for mileu.

The results were announced at a gala event hosted by „Aldaris” brewery museum and several special prizes were also presented. „Ekselence” prize for the best desert also went to Vincents.
