On the 27th of March Etienne Hugel, one of the three owners of the  Hugel & Fils winery , will visit restaurant Vincents. Hugel is one of the oldest wineries in Europe and now a 13th generation runs it.

I have the honor to invite you to participate in this unique event where stories about Hugel wines will be accompanied by a 9 course tasting menu presented to you by Martins Rītiņš and his chefs. Dinner will start at 19:00.

Etienne Hugel together with our sommelier Raimonds Tomsons have selected very special wines accompanied by a  very special menu designed using traditional and seasonal products typical to the  Alsace region – foie gras, veal sweetbreads, Dover sole, pigeon and , of course , the world famous Alsace cheese. The menu per person including wines is 110.00 Ls.

The Hugel family is a member of the world famous Primum Familiae Vini association. The HUGEL family is confident that in the 21st Century Alsace wines will regain the reputation they enjoyed when the family business was founded in 1639. At that time, they were the most highly-valued wines in Europe.
